This is the MIA, the Missing Item Archive, a directory of all missing items and item glitches/errors currently known in Neopia. Feel free to browse around to gain some information about those weird things happening to you around the site.

Terminology
The following abbreviations, definitions and terminology will be used in this directory. These terms are commonly used in the item community on neopets.

I'm Announced, but Unobtainable!

Obtainable and Unobtainable Obtainable: The item can be found on Neopets. You can obtain it through regular means such as neopian shops, Shop Wizard or Trading Post, or in case of a non-tradable item you may be able to get it as a plot prize, for example. Unobtainable: You cannot get this item through any means. It is possible some people own this item, because they have obtained it through a glitch or error. It is not possible to get this item at the moment, even though it may have been posted on the news. Released/Announced and Unreleased/Unannounced Released/Announced: A released or announced item was announced in the Neopets news. Unreleased/Unannounced: An unreleased or unannounced item wasn't announced in the Neopets news. Searchable and Unsearchable Searchable: You are able to look this item up with the Shop Wizard, who will recognise your search query as being an actual item. Sometimes TNT forgets to activate the items, so they are not obtainable through regular means such as neopian shops or receivable from events/plots. Unsearchable: The Shop Wizard will not recognize your search query as being an actual item. This happens when the item has not been activated or when you don't know the proper name of the item.

How to Browse
There are various ways to browse this database, as there are a lot of different categories of glitches, errors and mistakes. Below is an overview of the different the different ways you can find what you're looking for.

Searching by Date With this selection, you can search the database by date. The items are categorised by year, unknown (when an item may/should have been in the Neopets News but we do not know the date) and unannounced (when an item was never in the Neopets News). Searching by MIA Category There are many different types of item glitches, errors and mistakes, so they have been categorised.

Active: Duplicate item: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but they have a practically identical clone (either image or item name, or both) already in the game. Active: Glitched: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but they are glitched in some way (e.g. do not show up in your closet/neohome, or mess up your customisation). Active: Wrong information: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but parts of the information are incorrect (usually the item name or description has a typo in it). Searchable: MIA: These items can be searched in the Shop Wizard or Super Shop Wizard, so they are active in the database, but cannot currently be obtained through any means. They were, however, supposed to be obtainable in the game. Searchable: Unannounced: These items can be searched in the Shop Wizard or Super Shop Wizard, so they are active in the database, but cannot currently be obtained through any means. They were never announced in the news, so there is little chance they will actually become real items. Unsearchable: MIA: These items we have only found images for, but no names. They were, however, supposed to be obtainable in the game as they were announced in the news. Unsearchable: Unannounced: These items we have only found images for, but no names. They were also never announced in the news, so there is little chance they will actually become real items.

Searching for Fixed items This section displays all items that have been fixed since this archive was created (the archive started as a petpage long before it came on SunnyNeo). We believe some were fixed because of this archive. Displaying the Results The results can be displayed in two orders: By date, or by name. The handy buttons at the bottom of your selection can switch the listing between the two.

	Name: Half Oil and Grease Jelly Date: April 15th, 2011 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This jelly is supposedly given out by the Giant Jelly, but nobody ever obtained it so far.
	Name: Happiness Faerie Card Date: January 13th, 2007 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This Collectable Card was released and immediately overwrote an old MIA card, Nightclaw. Instead of properly activating it this time, it again was forgotten.
	Name: How The Red Faellie Climbed The Tree Date: Unknown MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This rare item code item was supposed to be a part of a Real Life Merchandise prize pool. The exact series is unknown, and it was most likely a series that never made it to the shelves.
	Name: Icky Slimy Pizza Date: May 16th, 2003 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This was supposed to be a VIRTUAL CODE PRIZE from the Pocket Neopet games, but sadly the code redemption area for these codes was taken offline. Only one copy of this exist on an inactive account.
	Name: Illusens Ring (TCG) Date: September 9th, 2003 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This TCG was supposed to be released with the First Edition TCG series, but even with its rarity of 107, it has never been found anywhere in Neopia.
	Name: Isfet Date: June 25th, 2001 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This petpet was released in the news, but never added to the site. There was some hope for this when it was an option in the Petpet Ponderance Poll in April, 2011, but sadly it wasn't chosen. The item is not expected to ever be released.
	Name: Island Attack Fish Date: October 20th, 2003 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: Only one of these exists, given out through the Mystery Island Volcano Mystery Plot.
	Name: Island Mystics Cape Date: Unknown MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This cape was given out by a trick-or-treat bag during the Haunted Faire in 2010, but when TNT found out, they deleted almost all copies of them, leaving a select random few. Why this happened this way, nobody knows, and the future for those still left on the site is uncertain. The Elegant Princess Amira Cape was added to the Hidden Tower on 8-7-2011, but the others (including this one) are still mysteriously lost.
	Name: Jeran Action Figure Date: April 3rd, 2004 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This item was supposedly given out for the Battle for Meridell TCG Tournament, but none of them ever appeared on-site.
	Name: Jinjah Puzzle Date: Unknown MIA Category: Searchable: MIA NT Editorial: #11153 - #11160 Author Notes: This is a Cracker/Stocking prize from (December) 2006 that was never properly activated.
	Name: JubJub Necklace Date: January 5th, 2004 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This item was said to be a part of "the new VIRTUAL PRIZE CODE items", but none any of it ever surfaced.
	Name: Kadoatie Morphing Potion Date: September 3rd, 2004 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: After having been released in the news, TNT seems to have decided against continuing the project of adding Morphing Potions for all petpets.
	Name: Kiko Lake Door Date: Unknown MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This item was supposed to be buyable in the NC Mall, but they never put it in.

	Name: Lime Negg Date: May 18th, 2004 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This Negg was supposed to be out there as a SUPER RARE (r100) item, but none have showed up since its release 7 years ago. Just like other (r100) items from this year, it's either messed up, or it simply refuses to restock, as the Glittery Scorchstone it was released together with has surfaced.
	Name: Lord Darigans Jewel Date: Unknown MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: Only three of these exist, of which one is on a frozen account.
	Name: Lord Kass Action Figure Date: April 3rd, 2004 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This item was supposedly given out for the Battle for Meridell TCG Tournament, but none of them ever appeared on-site.
	Name: Lord Kass Amulet Date: May 13th, 2004 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This item was supposed to be a Plot prize for the Battle for Meridell (Part 2, vs. Kass) plot, but only one of these supposedly ever showed up.
	Name: Lord Kass Quiguki Date: May 11th, 2004 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This super rare item was supposed to be r100, but after 7 years, it has not been sighted so far. Either something is wrong, or it refuses to restock/be given out by the Wheel of Extravagance.
